Kain Shannon
Founder & Creative Director
I'm a wildlife artist by trade. For years I've spent my time studying light, movement and the quiet character of animals in the northern wild — and trying to capture that feeling so someone else can see it too.
Alongside the art, I've always been drawn to marketing, storytelling and cinema: the way a great commercial can make you feel something in thirty seconds, and remember it for years.
Great North Studios is where those passions meet. I wanted to build a place that brings an artist's eye to advertising and creates genuinely exciting work for businesses.
